Grey Wizard's Spell Book

checkbox THE CROWN OF TAIDRON
Component: Iron Circlet
The Wizard unleashes 1-6 lightning bolts (1d12 halved) at 1 or more models within 3 spaces of the caster, each inflicting 3 dice of damage. Intervening creatures do not block line of sight.

checkbox BRIDGE OF SHADOWS
Component: Thunderbird Feather
A magical bridge can transport up to 5 models per turn to another previously explored location in the dungeon. Represent the bridge with the Sapphire Arch template. All models must be placed either in an area 3 by 3 or else 5 by 1 (Wizard's choice) centered on the first model placed. The bridge lasts until the end of the next exploration turn.
checkbox THE HORN OF ANDAR
Component: Wyvern's Claw
All allies within 36 spaces are immune to fear and treated as if they have Bravery scores of 12 until the next exploration turn.

checkbox STRIKE OF THE SWORD
Component: Obsidian Shard
A great sword composed of magical energies slices through the stone walls of the chamber, opening a passage where once there was none. The Wizard player may place an open doorway in any wall of the section in which the Wizard stands. If this would lead to an unexplored part of the dungeon, on a roll of 4 or less there is only solid rock beyond the doorway. Otherwise, generate as normal.

You know only the above spells at the start of the game. Tick the boxes as you learn the spells below.

checkbox STORMCALL
Component: Steel Rod
Every enemy model within 3 spaces of the Wizard takes 2 dice of damage from buffeting winds and flaring lightning. No line of sight is required.

checkbox THE DANCE OF DESPAIR
Component: Thunderbird Feather
Any one model within 24 spaces and line of sight twitches and tumbles erratically. Each turn, the model moves in a direction indicated by the Wizard, ignoring all death zones. Neither caster nor victim may take other actions while the Wizard maintains this spell.

checkbox RADIANCE OF PTOLOS
Component: Wyvern's Claw
A single model within 36 spaces of the Wizard begins to glow, becoming so bright that it is impossible to look at; no one may shoot at the model. This spell ends if the model enters hand-to-hand combat.

checkbox THE PIT OF TARNUS
Component: Obsidian Shard
A dark pit opens within 24 spaces of the caster in line of sight, represented with the pool template. All models under the template must roll under their Speed or be entombed forever. Alternately, the pit may be left open, a portal to the next level. On a roll of 4 or less, there is only solid rock below the pit.
checkbox TRAITOR OF TARN
Component: Steel Rod and Iron Circlet
If the Wizard passes an Intelligence test, he may choose a victim in line of sight within 24 spaces. If the victim fails an Intelligence test, it is treated as a Henchman of the Wizard for the remainder of the expedition.

checkbox THE GREY WINGS
Component: Thunderbird Feather
A single friendly model within 36 spaces of the Wizard disappears, reappearing at any point within the Wizard's line of sight not occupied by another model.

checkbox THE SWORD OF JUDGEMENT
Component: Wyvern's Claw
The Wizard draws upon his proverbial wisdom to aid in an important decision. The direct result of an action with random results may be determined ahead of time. The Wizard may choose to avoid that action and its consequences, or proceed with the predetermined results.

checkbox DISPEL ENCHANTMENT
Component: Obsidian Shard
The caster may attempt to negate the effects of a continuing spell. The caster and defending Wizard each roll 1d12 and add to their Intelligence. (If there is no defending Wizard present, merely roll 1d12.) If the caster's total is higher, the spell is negated.
