Warhammer Fantasy Role-Play is the original "dark fantasy" role-playing adventure, set in the Old World setting shared by various of Games Workshop's popular games, such as Warhammer Fantasy Battle, Warhammer Quest, and Advanced HeroQuest. While it was dropped by its original publisher, it has now been picked up by Hogshead Publishing, UK, which provides ongoing support with new supplements for this venerable game. The full game has a very sophisticated system of career advancement for heroes, a richly developed world setting, and a wealth of supplemental material to be found not only published by Hogshead, but available on many fan web sites. As I find the time, I'll put up some of the material I've put together for use with this game.
