Cybertronic Chemiman

Capitol pigs. Their greed had claimed all of Mars, which was once a lush, fruitful paradise just like old Earth. Or, at least, that’s what his teachers told him. It might not be true, but if the facts weren’t precise, at least the spirit was true, and that was all that mattered to him.

That and taking down the wicked Capitolian politician he’d been sent to silence. Without such oppressive, corrupt leadership, the Capitolian people would be one step closer to freedom from the shackles of capitalism. Some day, they would see him as a hero.

Comfortable in that thought, the assassin grinned behind his mask … a toothy grin to match the skull-like visage that hid his face. He carefully scanned the crowd with his scope, seeking his target. If he missed on his first shot, he would follow up with some grenades launched from his shoulder-mounted launchers. A few bystanders would die as well, but if they knew the truth of the glorious Peoples’ Revolution, they would gladly choose martyrdom over Capitolian oppression.

The Chemiman is a triumph of Cybertronic chemical and mechanical enhancements, and mental conditioning techniques. While the "super-soldiers" produced by this experiment failed to be the inspiring leaders they were meant to be – lacking the requisite initiative and creativity that has been wrenched from their systems by a strict regimen of brainwashing and physical training – they are still quite capable as scouts and assassins. They have almost no regard for personal safety or comfort, making them well-adapted to the rigors of infiltrating behind enemy lines. Sniper rifles allow for surgical strikes against key enemies, while their shoulder-mounted grenade launchers provide more force than finesse in dealing with massed troops.
