Terran Volcanic Eruption Visible From Luna
Eden-watchers at the Ridgetop Observatory caught a rare glimpse of a volcanic eruption visible on the surface of Dark Eden, located in the continental area known as South America.
"It was breathtaking," Dr. Liebowitz of the Watchers of Eden had to say. "We were in the right place at the right time. Regular observation paid off for us this time."

Stores Prepare for Back to School Rush
Department stores across Luna City are preparing for the yearly rush for back-to-school supplies. And, of course, that means stocking notebooks, pencils, backpacks, lunchboxes and other items with the latest, most popular characters. As with every year, those featuring the image of Cardinal Nathaniel are the top sellers, but there are several contenders for second place. "Holy Horse", star character of a new Brotherhood Kids' educational program for children, planned to start airing this fall, is expected to be a popular choice this year. In the wake of the Antonia concert this past spring, items sporting her image are reported to have soared in popularity in Luna City -- and not just with the kids!

Pizzaworld Employees Missing
Missing persons reports have been filed for three employees of a Perimeter-based Pizzaworld restaurant, including the manager, Joe "Pal" Paladin (age 42), and two cooks, Benny Schuster (18) and Leo Mandrake (21). Sources indicate that all three have been unaccounted for since approximately two weeks ago, when a burglary of some cleaning supplies was reported.
"He's a really great guy," said Janet McCarthy, an employee at Pizzaworld. "He's got a real reputation for getting kids off the streets, giving them decent jobs, helping them get back on their feet, you know? Real religious."
Mr. Paladin is described as a husky, muscular, clean-shaven man with dark hair and glasses, usually dressed in a suit and tie. Leo Mandrake is described as a young man, tall and wiry, with a red 'mohawk' haircut and a Brotherhood cross branded on his scalp. Benny Schuster is described as a young man, short and of average build, typically with close-cropped brown hair, with two missing front teeth.
