SinaiMUCK Mutant Chronicles Rules: Standard Issue
If you are going to be playing a police officer, the following represents what equipment you'll have access to as "standard issue", beyond any personal belongings you purchase with your starting money.
Basic Equipment
While on duty, you'll be issued the standard kit:
You'll also likely be riding with your partner in the squad car:
If your duty is expected to take you into hazardous zones, you'll probably
be issued special orders and additional heavy weapons depending on what
you've been trained to handle. Examples as follow:
This is not an inclusive list of the equipment that may be issued you by
the agency, but gives you an example of the kind of service you're likely
to see. If you're a technician, you may not be expected to carry heavy
weaponry, but if you'll be in the line of fire, you should certainly seek
out training with handguns and shotguns at the very least. We recommend
some measure of hand-to-hand training as well, for disabling riotous
citizens in a non-lethal manner.
Remember, the agency exists to protect the peace and order of the
community! We are not here to rack up a body count; we are here to serve
our paying citizens.
