Bisclavret Adventurers
A vertical graphic drawn up to be used in a possible redesign project for the Ironclaw portions of my web site. The characters here represent a cross-section of major species to be found in the lands of Bisclavret -- clockwise from upper left: a Bisclavret (wolf) lord, his Repense (bat) astrologer and advisor, her peasant mouse assistant, a Blaireu (badger) huntsman, an Esclage (porcupine) scholar, and a Screeberagh (wildcat) scout pointing the way. The device the Repense astrologer is holding, incidentally, is supposed to be an astrolabe. (I suppose I'll just have to draw a bigger one sometime.)

Bisclavret Highlander #1
A converted miniature meant to represent a Bisclavret Highlander wielding a claymore. The main body consists of a Ral Partha miniature from the Shadowrun series -- originally an unarmed man in a kilt in a pack of "shapeshifters", accompanied by a wolf. Since I already have tons of wolves, I took the head from the wolf from that pack and used it to replace the head, making it a wolf-morph. I clipped off the arms, and replaced them with some extra plastic "bitz" from a Games Workshop "Empire Regiment" sprue, giving this fellow a claymore. (6 Dec 2001) |
